Eureka High School’s Walk-a-Thon

Eureka High School’s Walk-a-Thon is one of the events offered during Hope Week that attempts to raise money for the Dax Locke foundation. Students take time in the morning, afternoon, during a free hour or during P.E. to walk the track, raising money through sponsors for the number of laps or amount of time they walk or run. The Walk-a-Thon has been successful in the past, and was again offered this year on Wednesday, March 14th, contributing to Hope Week 2012, which was March 12th through the 16th.

The pictures of the walkers found in the accompanying Photostream were taken by Solvi Bakke, from Norway and one of our Foreign Exchange students.
