Wrestlers at the Amboy Tournament


Congratulations to the Eureka Wrestling Team on winning the 14 team Amboy Tournament on Saturday.  The following wrestlers won medals:

EHS Speech Team Competes in Multiple Tournaments


The Eureka Speech & Drama Team, coached by Diana Sluder and Terri Kuebler took the challenge in December to compete at Stark County Individual Events tournament, Monmouth-Roseville Individual Events Tournament and at the Olympia High School Individual Events Tournament.  The team also competed on January 5 at Richwoods.
                Although down in numbers at the competitions due to conflicts with other extra curricular activities, the team managed to sweepstake trophies placing fifth at Stark County, 7th at Monmouth-Roseville and finishing 2nd in Small Schools at the Olympia Tournament.  At Richwoods, team members placed 3rd in small schools.   The EHS team also managed to acquire 24 individual medals.
                More recently at ICC the Team at ICC on January 12, the team faired well placing 7th out of large schools. .  Making points for the team this week were Constance Moushon—2nd place Radio, Mark Crenshaw—4th place Radio, Ross Hettinger—6th place Radio, Erik Slingerland—5th place Informative,  Jennifer Phillips—5th place Humorous Interp & 6th place Dramatic Interp, Kelly McCabe & Nathan Sylvester—Top Novice Humorous Duet, and Zach Harper—Top Novice Extemp Speaking.
